Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 3/4 cups maida


  • 3 tbsp corn flour


  • 1/4 cups oil


  • 1 cups milk


  • 1 1/2 tsp vinegar


  • 1 1/2 tsp strawberry essence


  • 1/2 cups sugar


  • 1/4 tsp salt


  • 1 tsp baking powder


  • 1/2 tsp baking soda


  • 1/2 cups strawberry jam


  • 1 cups desiccated coconut

Directions

  • Grease a baking pan and line with butter paper and keep aside.
  • Preheat the oven for 5 to 6 in 200 degree Celsius.
  • In a mixing bowl add maida, corn flour, salt , baking powder and baking soda and mix properly. Shift the mixture twice And keep aside
  • In another bowl add sugar and oil and mix properly.
  • In another bowl add milk and vinegar. It may curdle but don't it won't affect the cake
  • Add the milk to the oil and sugar mixture and mix properly. Then add strawberry essence mix
  • Now add dry ingredients in to the wet ingredients in two batches. Mix properly without lumps.
  • Then pour the batter on the already lined baked pan and put in the preheated oven. bake it for 35 mins im 180degree celcius.
  • Cook up to the tooth pick comes out clean.
  • Remove it from oven and let it cool down completely.
  • Then spread desicated Coconut on a plate. Then cut the cake in squares.
  • Melt the strawberry jam.
  • First roll the cake squares on the melted jam and again roll on the desicated coconut and serve.
